This is our second time creating a Christmas Eve box (despite initial reservations I had about the whole concept!) and the majority of this years items came from one of my favourite stores at Christmas and always – Wilkos. I love this adorable felt basket which I found amongst the homemade hamper items. So what are we including this year?
A staple for any Christmas Eve box these cute festive PJs came from George at Asda and are soft and cozy without being too hot and fleecy as Caterpillar gets really warm in bed. I really love the slogan!
As with last year, we decided to go with the NSPCC over the free Royal Mail letters. The personalisation is awesome and the money goes to a great cause.
Book – Santa’s Snow Globe
This is a really sweet story that’s perfect for Christmas Eve and the cover includes a glitter filled snow globe feature.
This Make Your Own Festive Glasses set is a very random craft activity but I know Caterpillar will find it really amusing. I love Wilko craft sets as you get everything you need in one pack and they are so reasonably priced.
Wilko Christmas baubles (including a mini talking Santa)
Homemade Reindeer Food
We made this one as Caterpillar’s school Christmas fair but last year made our own using This is simply dry porridge oats and sequins and glitter from my craft stash.
For more Christmas Eve box ideas feel free to check out last year’s post here. What have you included in yours?
Today’s Codeword is: Snowman, if you would like to read another post and gain another entry, then head over to Welsh Mum Of One for their take on Mini gifts made simple.
